I ordered DoorDash pickup since we had been driving all day. If I would’ve eaten at the establishment, this would’ve been the first time in my life I ever sent back a raw salmon roll. The one I received was slimy. It smelled and tasted so fishy that I gagged and tried to force the roll down before deciding I couldn’t finish it. Worst sushi I’ve ever had. We visit every time we are in Seaside. This is some of the best sushi I have ever had, and I can't recommend it enough.
Not sure about the poor reviews, because absolutely everything was phenomenal! We ordered 7 different rolls, a sushi and sashimi platter, tonkatsu, and seaweed salad. Every single one was fantastic! The service was so friendly and wonderful, great atmosphere that was dark enough to relax but bright enough to see, and wow the sauce for the tonkatsu was crazy delicious! We will definitely return!
