I’ve wanted to buy a Tops knife for many years, but didn’t because they seem to only use 1095 or lesser steels in an age of super steels. Their prices aren’t low, but seem ridiculously high for a 1095 steel knife. I finally stepped up and bought a Silent Hero fixed blade knife, I like that some of the profit is sent to the Silent Heroes foundation to help stop poachers in Africa. The problem is when removing and putting the knife back in the sheath the blade rubs the threads that hold the belt loop to the sheath. Mine is abo... read more

So I have been eyeballing a knife from Tops for awhile now and after some back and forth discussion with Hallie over in customer care I went ahead and made the purchase.
