Stopped in because of the reviews and found out that tonight they were not five stars. Once I found out there was no food onsite except walking through the restroom doors to a pizzeria next door, I returned after placing pizza order and sat waiting to order a beer. Among the five people onsite including a nice tuxedo cat, I waited for ten minutes before I was offered a drink. I chose only beer that was out after only being open for 3 hours. I have been traveling for two days and tomorrow will be day three. Flying up to Denver yesterday, driving from Denver to Dumas today, and then the last leg of our journey tomorrow… All my friend and I wanted was to sit in a beer garden and enjoy a wonderful cold craft beer. Even if you’re just passing thru Dumas, come out of your shell and stop at the Toppled Turtle! Vibrant spaces inside and out, friendly servers, owner and patrons. Dimona NEIPA was crisp fresh and slightly fruity. Drink 182 kölsch was the darkest, maltiest ever tried, but it definitely worked! Adjacent Italian restaurant serves up hot fresh menu, just thru the hallway. And the kitties are frisky and friendly. Also enjoyed the live music offered, fun but not too loud!
