Went in today for weld test and was met by I presume the plant CWI. Conducted himself in a professional manner and was helpful in getting me settled in. Found that the overall experience was good and looks like they build ramps and bridges (gang ways) to a very high quality. Enjoyed myself after relaxing and settling in to doing some GMAW pulse welds Some Tig welds not so good but still had some fun. Looks like a great place to work. Good place if you like aluminum fabrication.
Horrible place to work. Worked here for a month. manager at time was a women named BJ. Was wearing my own personal respirator because I was on a table saw all day cutting 2x4s for fixture. She said I wasn't able to wear that per OSHA because I was not fitted. I said ok when do I get fitted. No answer. Was fired next day. Alot of unprofessional people who have controlling issues.
Worked for this company as a welder for a day. Unorganized and unprofessional. Never paid for my time there either.
