Was always able to help me with vacuum and sewing machine repairs. Sorry to hear he is closing shop as of 9/26/18 - will miss him but wish him a Happy Retirement!

I do not recommend this place. I listened to Fred on the phone with a contractor at my house whom was on speaker, it is clear Fred does not perform ethical business and will try to snow you-especially with his rebuilt vacuum motors

I do not recomend this place for sewing machine repairs. Go to an specialist if you want a good work. He not only not repair my machine , he broke al least one piece forcing it to move.

It's really hard to find a place like this anymore. Fred runs a small one-man repair shop and is a true gentleman. In my interaction with him, he was true to his word and took a sincere interest in my machine and our needs. My Singer Heavy Duty sewing machine was in an uncontrolled thread looping nightmare, and Fred was able to easily find the problem, clean and lube the machine and test every feature (some I didn't know I had) to make sure the thing checked out aces. Buyer beware. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere. This business does not make good on their repairs and will not refund you .
