Awesome food with huge portions. The staff is friendly, the food is hot and freshly cooked when you get it. Great value, one of my favorite restaurants
Placed an order online thinking they were open. Got there and they were closed. Hope they're not permanently closed.
Sadly went during restaurant week and was disappointed. Brisket was rubbery. Mac and cheese did have flavor but was way over cooked. Greens were very good, very tender, a bit sweet for my taste. Hubby had the restaurant week special. Wasnt impressed.
The food here is absolutely phenomenal and so reasonably priced. We stopped here after a day at Forest Park Zoo, just googled something local. Its a little hole in the wall place which I loved because it felt family run. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I ordered smoked jerk chicken with Mac n cheese & Cajun fries for i believe $16; went I got home and opened the container I was floored to see a whole half a chicken in that styrofoam container!
