I flew out this weekend for the first time! It was relaxing and the staff was great. Unfortunately a delay caused me to fly back into Kansas City, but that had nothing to do with Topeka Regional. I highly recommend flying out of Topeka - I saved at least $100 in gas and parking with hardly any difference in ticket cost.

There should be a working ATM in the terminal. I waited 20 minutes for a transaction that never completed. Since you have to pay in cash to leave, I was stranded for an extra hour. When I asked an airport worker about it he said "oh yeah, that ATM is a piece of shit. Don't use it." Way to strive for almost enough Topeka.
Just flew recently to Cancun from here. The staff was amazing and so fun. The flights were perfectly piloted, and the best part was we didn't have to drive home from KC worn out from our trip. Also you can't beat episodes of Newheart while cruising 30,000 feet in the air.
