Great meal, view and atmosphere. Had pork cheeks, hummus and chicken wings.

Great location, had bison, literally inedible as it was too tough to chew, server said “ I spoke with cook they said bison is a naturally tough meat”- WHY are you choosing to serve it if you can’t cook it in a manner that makes it edible! And then acts like they did me a favor by taking $6 off the $34 meat I couldn’t eat!! The cheesecake was delicious, and other food items may be good but wouldn’t recommend it based on having an inedible item and charging for it when it was too tough to eat!!!
Honestly one of the most bizarre restaurant experiences we’ve had, especially considering this is not a cheap place. We sat for about 10 minutes without even being greeted while our server repeatedly walked past our table. When he finally came over, he told us how incredibly busy he was, which was confusing because the restaurant genuinely wasn’t very busy being a Sunday night. We were only in Lake Placid for 3 days and we came here twice. The drinks were great and the bartenders were AWESOME! remembered us from the first night, helped us pick a drink, made a bespoke drink for me and it was delicious. HIGHLY recommend! We didn’t end up eating here at all but everything that went out to the tables looked amazing.
