YES! Their trainer, small and petite, is a whizz with dogs. She has learned her business well. Highly recommended for competitive dogs or pets.

Great Kennel Experience A trustworthy friend told me about Top Notch, and was completely correct. The best kennel experience we have had. Our sheltie spent a glorious week there while we were on vacation. He was totally pampered and happy. They have a great exercise program. It is clean and calm. A great atmosphere. We plan to board him again this summer when we're on vacation. We certainly recommend it as a great kennel.

In a word... AWESOME! The staff is conscientious, caring and treat the dogs as they would their own. They are always polite and go the extra mile in customer service. The kennel facility is state of the art and clean. You can take a tour anytime. I have also gone to training class and had a private consultation because of some specific problems I was having. They really helped me and my dog. I don’t know what I would do without Top Notch. They use positive methods to train and my dogs and I have so much fun learning!

Top Notch personnel are so nice and truly care about your dogs. Especially Taylor and Desiree at the Pee Wee Cottage where I board Dani when I need to. Recently, when picking her up, they told me they found little spots of blood in her bungalow and after thoroughly checking her over could find nothing wrong. I called them back a week later to let them know that at 10 months, she had gone into her first heat! They were so glad I’d called to tell them because they were very concerned about her. Alyssa from the Turlock location groomed our German Shepard and he came back so fresh and well groomed. Wonderful staff and facility .. heard a lot of things about this place and definitely will be back!

The staff is very friendly. My first contact with them was through email and the response time was very quick. My puppy gets so excited when we drive down the Beckwith overpass because she knows exactly where we're headed. She LOVES daycare at Top notch! The prices are reasonable and I am confident she is in good hands.

We have sent our Tobi to both locations in Modesto (Top Notch Kennel and Top Notch Play All Daycare) and have had great experiences. The staff is kind and friendly, especially Tristyn and Katrina! They have a wealth of knowledge and can definitely be trusted with our Tobi! You can tell they treat your furbabies as their own. We will continue to bring Tobi here. Can't express how lucky and appreciative we are to be able to send our dog to Top Notch. Shoutout to Tristyn and Katrina - best best best people out there!

Outside, the fact that the staff is so friendly and care about all the pups that come in, my Ranger absolutely LOVES going to day care in Turlock! He starts getting super excited as we turn onto Tegner and loses all composure when we walk in and pulls the attendant to the door leading to the play yard. That tells me he wants to be there playing with his friends. 😊 We also use this location for our boarding needs and trust he’s well taken care of the whole time!

Our dog Bella Mae is really high energy and often difficult. They deal with her so well. They definitely supervise their play and are on top of the dogs' interactions. Bella loves the water and play with the dogs. she comes home well-exercised, exhausted and sleeps all evening. The girls at the front desk are always friendly too!
