Went in for my appointment at 1pm and they tried to tell me it was scheduled for noon, and couldn't accept me that day. Recorded my call with them previously (as I've had trouble with auto shops lacking integrity before) and confirmed the appointment was indeed scheduled for 1pm. On top of that, the package of free oil changes I bought from them, claimed them to be free with nothing about additional charges for what was offered (besides for optional additional services and upgrades.) Tim and his team are fair and upfront with all costs. Automotive service is a tough business to keep everyone happy as everyone is worried about being taken advantage of. This is a shop you can go to and not have to worry about that. Tim even has gone as far to accepted coupons from the business across the lot which went out of business due to unethical practices. Wow... I needed a new desiel mechanic now that I live in Oregon City. I had an oil leak and felt this was the place to go based on the average customer reviews. They had the truck for 2 days and the issue was a seal with my oil filter. It costed me $900 for a seal, oil change, air filter, and fuel filter? Almost $400 in labor? Crazy.... you would think they would want to gain customers not overcharge new one's so they don't come back. Lesson learned..... I can see why their shop was empty....
Top Gear is always making me feel taken care of. I won't go anywhere else. Fair prices, good people, and honest service. I love Tim and Don!!! I send everyone I know in this area to them. So hard to find a good shop these days so I have to spread the word!!
I have never had better service! Tim is one of the most knowledgable and helpful "car" guys I have ever met. After getting into an accident, my tow truck driver suggested that I have my car towed to these guys. I called Tim several times a day with questions regarding my car, and estimates on repair. He was very patient and kind with me and helped me understand what the issues were with my car.
