I previously left a 5-star review after my older son completed Top Driver 2 years ago. His classroom instruction at the Arlington Heights location was excellent, and his in-car instructor, Lester, was patient, encouraging, and made the driving lessons something my son actually looked forward to. Go somewhere else! They advertise picking up and dropping off at your house. That’s a joke! You have to log in on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at noon in order to schedule. When everything fills up, you go to another location a city or 2 over. Also, it is impossible to get someone on the phone. They say they are open until 5 PM, but close at 4. There is a $60 Fee if you have to cancel in less than 48 hours no matter what! You can only schedule 2 behind the wheel sessions per month and then you have to wait until the next 2n... read more

Just awful trying to get the lessons you paid for. In-class work was fine and my son liked the instructor, but it is near impossible to schedule in-car lessons. After finding 0 available slots when I logged in exactly at noon, I contacted support for help. Half of the locations in the area stopped showing up in my search after 1 month - customer support eventually told me that locations have an option to reserve their spots for students who attended the in-class sessions there. I submitted a complaint to the provided customer service email regarding a serious safety concern four days ago. Given that this involves the safety of children, I would expect at minimum a callback within 48 hours. So far, no calls from Top Driver management.
