Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is the hidden gem of Door County! 100% amazing scratch food, outstanding service, and killer lake and sunset views! You guys are the gold standard for dining in Door County! Don’t change a thing, you’re doing everything perfect!
Dined on a recent Saturday. We were told it would be about a 30 minute wait, and prob was a bit less than that. We walked around and sat outside which was pleasant. Restaurant was loud (which hostess acknowledged), but our table by the window kept us away from the noise. We got water quickly but took awhile for our server to arrive. She was ok. A bit of a disappointing experience. I was with my family in a party of 5 that arrived at 6:50 and were quoted an hour wait. No problem! We’re DC veterans and we’re fine with the wait. It ended up being about an hour and 20 minutes - again no problem! The host was communicative about our seating options and was very personable. We know that it’s hard to control the pace of the diners before us. We were sat around 8:15pm and that’s when it felt like we were immediately inconveniencing the staff for being there.
