Booked a room for 2 days, for 3 workers, took payment , could not offer refund . The receptionist put 3 males into a 2 bed apartment and then told absolutely no way was anyone to sleep on the couch (stating it’s due to hygiene issues 😳).they did not have any foldouts or trundles to offer and expected us to share beds or sleep on the ground. I had to drive back to Brisbane at 6pm after work and then back again in the morning and never used the apartment. Let’s start with the positives: - the room was a good size - the location is great - the staff was friendly Now the negatives: - the rooms were really worn. Marks on walls, stains on carpets, marks on curtains, stuff like that. - when checking in, I was forced to provide card details. No real dramas, but it also asked for a cvv? Booked a room. Opened the door to be greeted by a smell of moisture/mould. Walked into the bathroom to find mould growing really bad on the kick board of the vanity. There was also alot of bacteria grow in the basin and shower. The carpets looked and felt dirty. I went to reception and explained what I had found and wanted to be moved to another room.
