Booked in for a recall of my emergency parking brake and was told to arrive at 7am and that it would take no longer than 2 hours. When I arrived, I was told that they don't start service until 8am and that it would be at least 11am until it was fixed. Did a scheduled 50k kms service of my Kia Sorento and replaced all four tires. They clearly didn't do any wheel alignment or balancing, the car pulls to the left (was better before) and didn’t wash it either. The order I placed for four tires through the parts department was cheaper and the service people had no idea about the order and charged me more than the original quote. I wouldn’t have taken the car home if I had picked it myself. They are good at talking and not actually delivering.
Booked in a service on a date that was not greyed out. Got to the department on that day and got told that it was fully booked. Looked at the car bay and there was no cars in sight. Asides from that, if the day is fully booked, why would it not be greyed out? And why let a patron book it in online if it’s fully booked out on the day.
Technician unplugged the dash cam at service which I don’t have problem with. Reported issue straight away on the same day as dash cam has ceased working right after the car was handed back to me. First denied anything was wrong but as I sent back the dash cam to the manufacturer and obtained the last recorded video which clearly shows everything worked well until the technician unplugged the dash cam. offered no help apart from keep asking me to ,bring back the car to the workshop to have a look,. Took our new kia for it's 1 year service. A couple of weeks after the service we discovered a massive puddle of oil in our garage. Looked under the car and oil was everywhere around the cover over the oil tank. Got a mechanic which was fortunately 1km down the road to look at it and they discovered the sump plug of the oil tank was on it's last bit of thread. Tank had barely any oil left (<400ml by this point) and obviously once the plug fell out we would've been left with nothing. Fixed the issue on our own dime despite pay... read more
