After a year of thinking about it, I finally booked in at Tooth & Nail for a full restyle after coming out. I have always hated my thin, fine hair and have never walked out of a hairdresser feeling great. On the day of my appointment, I'd had 3 meltdowns before arriving but Charlie and the team made me feel really at ease, I explained my anxiety and they were really patient and helped me talk through options to figure out what was going to work with my hair. Made my first appointment in advance, and it got cancelled on a baseless claim that "my views on gay marriage do not align with that of the salon and myself". I have no views on marriage - all should be free to do as they wish, all entitled to their human rights. It's dissapointing that for a salon that describes themselves as being a "safe space for all", they've done the complete opposite. Discriminatory, unprofessional. Do better.
My Barber kol who's class, recently moved here so I followed him across. The place just has this great chill vibe to it. The service from Kol was amazing as ever. Great little spot 👌
