I was a toolmaker helper at Toolcraft...i thought i was doing well enough to keep my job n continue to learn the trade...oh how i was very wrong...i was approached about taking a drastic pay decrease n the way the made it sound it could be more down the road...never in my manufacturing career have i been approached about taking a pay cut...this was a slap on the face for me...i was also made to feel like i wasn't wanted as an employee by management...with xmas right around the corner too boot...i honestly felt insaulted...th... read more
Far from professional. I applied for a position and the engineering manager scheduled an interview. I showed up only to find that he left early for the day and didn't bother to tell me. I don't know how they get anything done here.
Loved my visit to Toolcraft. I was most impressed by a number of employees with 40 pulse years of service. I appreciated the old school feel of their shop. My employer has had many dies built at Toolcraft and to my knowledge, they have always met our needs.
