Catch up with friends at Tooker Alley an exclusive cocktail bar. The bar is famous among the locals for its creative cocktails which are well shaken by the bartenders. There is a menu for light snacks you can complement with your drinks like tacos and chicken on skewers. The interiors have vintage accents lending a mid 20th Century look. The ambience is cozy and sets in a very relaxed mood.

Incredible drinks--try the hobo julep--and a menu filled with entertaining commentary. Relatively expensive by Prospect Heights-standards, though.
For gin drinkers try the Martinez No2.
Very knowledgeable bartenders. Get something with High West!
the jalapina is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy
Great cocktails and bar bites
It took a bit to get a drink, but it was so yummy and worth the wait. Also, waitstaff was really nice.
Not worth the wait, the painfully slow service, the forgotten drink, the wrong drink, the bad drink, or the uncomfortable stools (STOOLS, ARG) for the good cocktail or two.
The Manhattanite does things in your mouth, you guys. It does things in your mouth.
This place reflects a mix of high-minded artistry and down-market charm in its list of eight craft cocktails, like the Hobo Julep, which reshapes the posh Kentucky Derby classic in everyman fashion...
