Dropped my truck off with an oil leak. I was told the tappet cover was leaking. The first attempt at repair left the truck bleeding oil instead of dripping. The second attempt (also unsuccessful) was a disaster. I picked up my truck, supposedly still leaking a little oil and a vacuum line reattached. I called Tony to ask if he could help me get a new valve cover on my car not realizing he was out of state. (Im in WA) He gave me a good brief of what tools Ill need and what the work is going to look like. He also mentioned if i get stuck at any point to give him a call. He was more than willing to help walk me through it. He didnt talk down and was able to give me some confidence going into it. Definitely a mechanic that I would work with!!!
putting the whole story exceeds the character limit, so i'm going to give a short version. anthony has seriously overcomplicated what could have been a relatively simple and inexpensive fix with my jeep & has cost me a LOT of time and money in the process (which hasn't ended; i am going to have to get more repairs with a different mechanic now). he has hit me with delay after delay after delay and is now at the point of ghosting me for days, & he still has a new part that i paid for. He canceled the first time because of rain, which is understandable, but then said he would show up the next day, which he never did, did not contact me about the delay, then gave him another chance, but did not show up again, and ghosted me. If you are on a deadline to have your car fixed, go to a shop, not this guy.
