This woman is insightful and helpful in working through my worst problems. I would be lost without her.
Dr McFadden is awesome. She is very professional but she listens and she offers to show you ways of dealing with certain circumstances. But she doesn't push anything on you. I would recommend her to anyone.
Making a Veteran that deals with TBI and severe PTSD relive memories in vivid detail is not something to take lightly. This should never have been done!! Now he has not been able to shut off the memories and is having major nightmares and not being able to sleep for days. All doctors prepared ahead and read medical files so that it was never necessary to restate in detail the trauma. We have taken steps backward in recovery over the last few days because of this and now have a longer road ahead.
I would recommend Dr.McFadden to all of my family and friends.
I have went through all he classes and testing to be my husband's caregiver through the VA. He is a disabled veteran with memory problems as well as PTSD. He ask for me to accompany him to his appt and during it and was denied. She told him she could cancel or see him alone. That causes great stress, anxiety, anger, and possibly triggers for PTSD outburst. I have never been denied for any of his mental health appointments with any of his other Dr's We will not be returning here nor reccomending
