My husband and I ate there a few years ago. We both have seen Tony Gore at concerts for years. We are all big fans of this wonderful man who is so extremely talented. We had turned around in the parking lot beside of Tony Gores restaurant. We were hungry and couldn't agree on a place. He asked me do you want to eat at Tony Gores restaurant? I was like what???? Perhaps if "cleanliness is next to godliness" was specifically stated in the bible, Mr.Gore would be more likely to adhere to that rule. Since it is merely alluded to...well, I guess we are all entitled to our own interpretations. It's not too pretty to look at when you first walk in the door...has that shabby chic appeal. Wonderful food! Desserts that are world class! We were there with a party of 12 . Best smoked meats ever! Brisket so tender. Ribs bones pulled right out of my meat...flavors are divine. Chocolate cake good sized portion, rich and moist! I will definitely be back. Wall of stars with autographs. A positive place.
Tony's restaurant has outdone themselves with BAR B Q! That is all we've sampled there - although the desserts look absolutely delicious too! If you order Bar B Q, use Tony's homemade sauce which is on the table - ask the waitress! Tony is also a wonderful gospel singer and an all around nice guy! Atmosphere is very casual - but you DO need shirt and shoes!!
