Small little place tucked in Destin, Florida. Good fried chicken with a nice crispy coating and friendly service. I enjoyed my visit and would come back to try more items on the menu.
We went at 830 after a beach trip, this was Tuesday August 3rd, 2026.. We were limited to what we could order because they closed at 900. They turned the fryers off (according to the cashier and one other employee) and the chicken in the display looked old and dry. The cashier did not care and appeared frustrated. He said we could only order what was cooked already in the heat lamps. I get it if it was an eat in seating restaurant. We were taking it to go. What a bad experience .
The food is good enough to not question your reasoning for stopping by, but the chicken is a bit overly seasoned. I enjoyed the cornbread biscuits and the fries which were seasoned with Cajun seasoning. The chicken was fried crispy and it had flavor down to the bone. However like I mentioned earlier it can be a bit salty.
The food is very good and had a nice kick!! However the old white bald guy who was fixing the food was rude to customers and staff
I love that the chicken is actually crispy!! Each tender is considered “large” so its very filling. The biscuits are definitely my favorite. They make a perfect side! Definitely recommend this place if you are a fried chicken lover Also, hospitality is too tier. Chef Ernie is always wlaking around and making peoples days better. Our voice matters in this place!
