The park feels unsafe at times, and I wouldn’t recommend going alone. It’s better to visit with someone else or during busier hours.
This is NOT safe due to unruly kids. We had a bag of snacks and some unsupervised kids kept trying to take things out of it. One kid got particularly upset when we told him to stop, found a metal rod (which shouldn't even be in a park), and actually hit me and a helper we had with us. I also saw kids peeing on the playground equipment, older kids riding bikes through the splash park while kids were running around, and a teenager driving a moped through the park. The city need to do something about how dangerous this park is.
We unfortunately found the park quite littered with trash. We did not stay, I am sure the park can be lovely but it was not when we visited.
