Anthony at Tom’s Mechanical was great to deal with, I was away from home and had an overheating problem with my van, he got me in at short notice and ran some tests to diagnose the issue, gave me good honest advice about what was involved in repairing it and the associated costs and charged a very reasonable price for his time. If this business was close to where I lived it would 100% be where I would be taking all my vehicles. Great service, highly recommend. Thanks Anthony and team.
If you care about your car do not take it to these guys, gaskets fail and start leaking after only four months, after doing the job again myself with a mate we found out they love to use a good ton of silicone to the point where it is nearly covering the whole gasket, they also like to say what they think about your car not knowing there is a dashcam installed, I know there are plenty positive reviews but I myself have had a bad experience and will not be taking my car back to them, there’s better trusted mechanics out there... read more
Updating my review again. New Update: Since my last review who I will keep below, George has retired however the new owner Anthony has now taken over. And I am happy to say that I still receive the same customer service just with added banter. I will remain a loyal customer of Toms Mechanical Repairs because you cannot beat honesty when it comes to mechanical repairs. Our family have been relying on Tom's Mechanical for 25 years, from sudden disasters to regular maintenance, Tom's have been vehicle knowledgeable competent and honest when fixing or servicing both the petrol and diesel vehicles we have owned.
