They ruined 7 silk blouses and 2 silk dresses. When I went to pick them up, they were dry, brittle and had runs in the silk. They told me that they could not be held responsible for any of the damage (over $1,000). When I asked the manager for his information to pass on to my attorney, he handed me the generic business card and said that I would never see the money. As a new Goose Creek resident, I am appalled that a business like this is still in business.
I am a real customer and will not suggest other drycleaners in the area. I will never go to Tommy's again. I've gone to Tommy's probably 8-10 times over the last year. Can't say the place is top notch. They aren't very friendly and it's always dark inside with the only light coming through the windows. But hey, whatever. They're close to my house in Crowfield, the turnaround is usually within a couple business days, and the prices seem reasonable.
