I had a very minor lift kit installed on my 2021 Honda Passport in early July 2021 and Tommy's was the shop utilized by the principal mechanic to align the car after the minor lift. I unfortunately didn’t have a good experience at Tommy’s Automotive as most have which is a disappointment because I was looking for a new garage. They charged me $62 for an estimate because I didn’t have them do any work at the time..... but never informed me that they would charge for an estimate. They claimed it’s because they had to take apart my car. When I said that I didn’t ask them to take my car apart, they told me there must have been a miscommunication. We do show a record of you bringing your car to us for two separate complaints: the tailpipe being cracked, and your headlights dimming when braking. We started by looking into the issue with the cracked tailpipe. The tech found damage to the gasket between your mid-pipe and muffler. Hats off to a real customer first Auto shop. Quick story my mechanic retired and I was looking for a new one after 30 plus years of service and I found Tommy's on a forum for my 76 Fj 40 land cruiser. This place is great, honest and trustworthy. I was quoted a price for major work to my daughters week and Tommy ran into trouble because of poor manufactured parts and incurred several more expenses and additional 5 hours of labor. When you are hours away from your child at West Chester University this is the place for an honest opinion when they have auto issues. Close to the university .
Service sets this place above the rest. The staff are honest and expeditious - in a pinch they kept me well informed, moved quickly and do an amazingly thorough job!!! Blair is exceptional!!
