The Tommyknocker Tavern was established in 1999 by a group of locals in the historic mining town of Creede, Colorado. We had a great time with our group enjoying the music and the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Food wasn't great... Dry beef brisket in a sandwich with no sauce, just 2 pickles. A bit disappointed to see all the single use items (plates, fork, cups...). The tavern is nice inside and the bartender was doing a good job but I wouldn't recommend eating there. Maybe for a beer but not much selection on tap.
Great food. The owner was bar tending and was super nice.
Make no mistake, this is a brewery with excellent food, it is not a restaurant with excellent beer. Having said that, we devoured some of the best nachos we've had in a bar at a long time. The wife recommends the Elevation Pilsner.
