Was devastated to come by this week to find the doors locked and the restaurant closed. We'd been going to TT's for years since it opened up. We loved the restaurant, the food and the friendly wait staff. The lamb chops with chili sauce and sweet black sticky rice were fabulous. Farewell gang and best wishes to all.
I miss this place terribly. Any chance you'd share your recipe for spicy basil fried rice? I keep trying to simulate yours for my wife (she loved yours more than anything) but not quite there yet.
3/19/14 - Buh bye Tommy Thai. So sorry to see you close.
I went to try the food on 3/17/2014 at dinner time but the place is CLOSED. The windows are dark tinted with tables blocking the door and it's locked. No employees or customers to be found but the lighted sign above is still lit.
I've been going to Tommy Thia for several years now and I know the owner Jack. The waiting staff Nadia, Kiki, Love, and Bill are very friendly willing to talk and have fun to help you enjoy your experience at Tommy Thia. The food there is phenomenal make is spicy or as bland as you would like. At the bar there is plenty conversation TV to enjoy your food or drink.
