Best food ever and owners are great. I make my own tamales homemade are great but a ton of work. These are just as good and no work!!!! Try everything cause everything is amazing.

Have been eating Tommy's tamales for years. So happy they are celebrating their restaurant's 1 year anniversary today. Congrats. Always good food and lively atmosphere. You have lots of items to choose from. I chose the Pork Tamale Chile Pie on my latest visit and even the small bowl was so much to eat. I made all gone because I was raised that way..ha.. Give Tommy Tamales a try and catch their daily specials..they are, umm..umm...good.
The tamale bowl was the best. When I'm back in DFW I will always got back for more. Tried the ghost pepper peanut brittle, was very tasty.
The best place to eat, the food is tasty, the manners and the honest friendliness of the owners, Joanna and her husband amazed my family and myself, such a warm welcome, feels like family, more than a restaurant...great selection of tomales choose from.......can't wait to go back....
I love tamales and decided to try Tommy Tamale. Awesome! The food was great, and the people very nice. I'm giving a 4 instead of 5, because I really think chips should be included. I got salsa with my food.... But without chips, I didn't see the point. I'll definitely be back.
My wife and I just ate at Tommy Tamale's. Loved it. Best tamales I have ever eaten. Steve provided the most personal service. I would recommend it to everyone. Wish they would expand to TN.

I received tamales to go, I ordered six. When I arrived back at my office, I opened the foil and my tamales were still in a plastic wrapper!! I thought I was buying homemade tamales! I will NEVER go back there again, furthermore I will spread the word that they do NOT make their own tamales, they buy pre made ones and just heat them up!! I feel so let down!!
