Unique gifts and jewelry Tomlinson Crafts has been around for a very long time and has had a consistently good selection of pottery, glass, textiles, paper and wood crafts by local and maybe not-so-local artists. Ginny Tomlinson (owner) has a great eye for jewelry too. You can pick up some really beautiful and unique gifts here from the sublime to the amusing. Always fun to look!
Horrible service These folks were so snobbish and rude that I would never return. The products are lovely but the attitude is just not worth it. I spent a long time in the store looking, but the staff person never approached me. Then, when I went to purchase the hand-crafted pottery bowl I wanted gift wrapped, the employee snapped at me. I asked for the lid and the bowl to be wrapped in tissue paper separately--she said, "I know what I'm doing." Not a single "thank you" during the entire transaction--just a sneer.
