Best View The best view of any restaurant in Encinitas. Try the pizza roll, and the batman roll! Happy hour rocks - great deals. Even if service is slow, the staff is super cool, professional and pleasant.
Great view, great sushi, great music!! – this place is amazingly authentic! The owner is from Taiwan and many of the dishes feature homemade recipes made by Tomiko herself! I'd suggest the Tomiko seared ahi special. Covered with 7 pepper spices! The ambience is a treat in itself! Can't get a better view of the ocean. And the music will keep you guessing since they play old deep cut beats. Try Tomiko and you won't be unsatisfied!!!!
Could be better Tomiko sushi does have a great happy hour deal and the sushi is pretty decent but the service is very slow and the sashimi is not that fresh! I would never come back again! It is decent but not worth the hassle or wait! There are better sushi places 5-10 minutes away!
one of the better ones I have yet to find a "good" sushi place in san diego.. however, I do like to go to Tomiko for happy hours and sit at the sushi bar. If you sit on regular tables, service is REALLY REALLY slow. you can't beat the price during the happy hour for the type of sushi you get. I wouldn't necessarily say it's the best sushi ( i thought sushi on the rocks had better quality sushi) but it's fun and good atmosphere.

Delish Sushi! – My Fiance lives in San Diego, and every time I come out to visit I make him take me to Tomiko. It is by far one of the best sushi restaurants I have been too, and I am from the NYC! Also, the service is great... We always have the best experience each time we go!
