On holidays in Lemon Tree Passage. After chemists had closed last night, my husband brought my young sons here with many larval tick bites. Too many for us to treat with one canister of tick freeze. The triage nurse agreed that that is what they looked like and applied treatment to a few. They were then seen by a Doctor who couldn’t see them himself and decided they were probably just insect bites. He sent them home with a script for scabies antibiotics and no treatment for ticks. Feel like some of the 1 star reviews here are extremely unfair. So grateful for this place and the amazing ppl that work here. Came in on NYE morn with a badly infected abscess and received top notch care and treatment. Bit of a wait (to be expected this time of year) but only about 90 mins, which is a dream compared to what Newcastle would be. Thanks so much to all the nurses, doctors and hospital staff looking out for us over the holidays and always!
Attended Tomaree Community Hospital yesterday with asthma and trouble breathing, waiting room packed, triaged very quickly, then straight to emergency resus.
