I recently switched to Tom Thumb pharmacy for insurance reasons. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the courtesy that I’ve encountered. In particular I want to complement Mo for his excellent customer service. It’s nice to have someone with customer service skills pick up the phone.
Everytime I call them they answer saying “pharmacy please hold”. They are way understaffed, their drive thru window is terribly constructed, as it’s so low and so far away from any car! Every time it’s time to pick up my prescription I just dread it. I have to go into the store to get to the pharmacy and for us older folks that’s quite a walk! Bad service due to being WAY understaffed and a horrible drive thru experience!
I have been coming here for decades, mostly because of the service. I’m about to stop coming here for precisely the same reason. I was given a price for my prescriptions that presumably were based on my insurance, yet they were cash prices and I loathe arguing. The woman that comes to the counter does not have a gift for customer service, nor does she have a language fluency (she was shouting at me in Arabic). When a person is unwell, dealing with surly pharmacists is just not jolly.
