In stalled 2 water softeners in our new build wrong. Our water smelled like ass for 8 months. We sent our water to a lab in Ottawa. The sodium in the house water was 492ppm. It should never be higher than 20ppm. Our well test is 15ppm. We turned the water softner off and the smell was gone in 30 min. After repeated attempts to have the issue resolved, Tom himself, offered to give us a few bucks back and he removed the water softener.
