Toller Ort mit einer informativen Tour. Hier kann man viel über die Arbeitsweise unter Tage auf der Suche nach opalen erfahren. In den Wänden sind immer wieder Spuren von Opalen zu sehen. Auch wird die Arbeitsweise der unter Tage eingesetzten Maschinen vorgeführt. Sehr zu empfehlen.
10/10 highly recommended, we ended up on a group with what seemed like 300 kids but paul spoke to all of us on different levels so we all got a good amount out of it and the kids were so quiet and engaged Very knowledgeable great tour would pay again tomorrow
Excellent visit, and as a self guide type of guy I thought is was good value. Plenty to see for sure. To top it off they give a UV torch to use to spy all that Opal still in the walls and ceiling. This place feels as though it goes way underground, you come across the original shafts along the way, and some Carey on going down further. The machines on show must of made the process quicker but I bet no more enjoyable! A very good visit, with a spot of noodling to be had on the way out!
