Dr. Tom was great when I first started visiting her. However, after a scheduling mishap caused by her office staff where they scheduled me for a different doctor with a very similar sounding name, I have felt completely ignored by Dr. Tom. I called her practice three times about a serious medical concern and never received a call back from her despite the concerns being placed on my chart and the staff leaving multiple notes for her with my information. Shes a terrible PCP I would not recommend. I had two major health conditions that I seen her several times for, described my symptoms,she had no idea just maing up stuff and prescribing medication sometimes the same medication even after I told her it wasnt working. I didnt get a true diagnosis until I left her and that practice as a patient all together.
I have been seeing Dr. Tom for about 4 years. She is very caring and NEVER rushes through our appointment. She answers all my questions and always takes the time to answer any questions I may have. Her wait times can be a little longer but that is only because she doesn't stick to the normal patient every 15 minutes guideline that most doctors do. She will spend as little or as much time that is needed. It can be difficult to get an emergency appointent but she will bend over backwards to try.
