Incompetent, condescending and deceptive. The details aren't important - just stay away.......
When I took my Toyota Prius to Tom Lyons to get 4 Nokian WR2 tires (the tires are great) the mechanic said that two of my tire pressure sensors were leaking. They removed them and put in rubber valve stems. They offered to get me new sensors, but they couldn't program the computer so it would recognize the new sensors. I took the car to the Toyota dealer and they charged me $390 to replace the sensors.
