While he 'may' have fixed an aneurysm in my head, because only time will tell, his bedside manner is awful! I had no idea what the procedure would entail. Would I be asleep or awake. Scared for weeks until anesthesia finally told me at preop I would be asleep. I had no clue what time my surgery would be until 3 days prior to surgery and boy the time was waaaay off. You're told to take certain meds before your surgery such as omeprosol, which I take every 12 hrs. I was told to be there at 7 am. I sat in pre on for over 6 hrs.... read more
This Doctor was on call the night I came into emergency unaware of what was going on. He saved my life made it where I could walk again and took time to make sure I was alright throughout the whole process. On a 1-5 id rate him a 10
Dr. Yao and his staff are amazing. I felt listened to and cared for through my whole surgery and stay. He made sure that my husband and I understood exactly what would be taking place and we did not feel pressured to make a decision. He truly cared about my quality of life. I will forever be thankful to him.
