I have to take a moment and thank Dr. Carol Marienthal Skaar and her amazing team at Toluca Burbank Dog & Cat Hospital in Burbank. Our rescued red-eared slider turtle, Jewel, had to be euthanized today - last night she was attacked and severely wounded by a raccoon. We thought she had a safe enclosure with a hiding place in case of predators but it was not safe enough. After I called this morning they could see us right away and I know little Jewel is no longer suffering. Thank you so much for your kindness!! xoxox The Savar... read more
