Admission was free! A nice little stop to break up pur drive and learn some cool history. Gift shop was super reasonable on prices too!
Clean bathroom/ building, friendly staff, one of my favorite places to walk in the area. The signage isn't readable anymore, though, and the boardwalk is closed. Also, I think it's Parks and Rec that get the proceeds from the gift shop. I would be more likely to spend money if they featured indigenous artists' work and properly compensated them. Honestly, the best thing that could happen to this place is Land Back.
We had a great time walking the boardwalk and reading the guide trail . The rangers were so nice and answered our questions and friendly very easy trails and quick stop. This would be great place for small groups and learning some histoey
