The cost was reasonable, compared to current attorney fees, for the deep consulations. They were very kind and generous to me and helped me get a solid settlement for more tutoring for my child from the district. My attorney, Emily, was responsive, made the legal side of things easy to understand, and had really good suggestions every step of the way. I cannot recommend them more highly for families of special needs children who are not getting what their school/school district what they should.
They quoted a retainer to simply review mediation and IEP documents that was higher than the combined legal fees I'd paid other attorneys for representation at the school district in a mediation and defending an expulsion that created the documents I just wanted read over. When I questioned the retainer amount, they insinuated it was 'too much' for me and then rescinded their new client offer. Seemed thin skinned to be effective lawyers if I was too abrasive. Onboarding process took weeks as well.
