I really hope the food actually tastes like Tokyo, Japan, but it’s lacking.. kinda disappointing. The food I ordered was beef udon, but it didn’t taste like actual Japanese udon soup. It lacked flavor and tasted more like Americanized Japanese food. The beef was chewy, not the soft kind. The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
wow. i really like this place. i usually order alacarte appetizers & sides. never am i disappointed. house tokyo soup is delicious. the onion petals (tempura style) is so filling & has a delightful crunchy texture with the very rich spicy mayo sauce on the side. it is enough for several people as an appetizer. i always get a cast iron pot of jasmine green tea. often also get a side salad (squid or octopus or seaweed). when appropriate to my schedule I enjoy a bottle of japanese beer which is very reasonably priced for an imp... read more
