Service was subpar, everyone acted like they were scared to even interact with me or something. Place was VERY quiet with almost no one in the restaurant which maybe should have been my first red flag. Then I looked at the menu, YIKES those prices are insane! But maybe the foods good.....nope. We went only because it had 4.8 rating. It Was mediocre at best. Service was poor. No one knew much about the menu or specials. The place was nice and clean. But not a 4.8 Restaurant. Tom yum soup was not good at all. Nothing really had flavor at all. We ordered Bao, house special fried rice, kung pao beef, and a specialty roll. Nothing was that great at all. Sorry but ratings are off.
This restaurant has a very unassuming appearance from the street. However, the food was amazing. Almost gourmet presentation with fresh and flavorful ingredients. If I lived near, I would be hitting this up all the time.
Started with the passion fruit tea which was very good. The peach tea was said to be too sweet. The soft shell crab appetizer was PERFECT! The crispy bottom bao was tasty with a nice crisp crunch from the bottom. The veggie spring rolls were AWEFUL! All dough which was raw inside and no vegetables to be found anywhere-total joke! Ordered the chicken and broccoli entree without the sauce. The broccoli was streamed and really good, however, the chicken was definitely NOT chicken!
