Greeted and sat promptly. Interior is low lit and cozy. Started with fries which were standard. Son got the pork tenderloin katsu meal which came with miso, rice, and cabbage. I liked that they included a mini Japanese mortar and pestle to freshly grind sesame seeds then mix with the katsu sauce (delicious). Hubby tried the salmon katsu curry udon which was huge but difficult to eat, perhaps scissors would help to cut it table side. Five stars! Our whole family absolutely loves this tonkatsu spot. It has easily become our go-to restaurant for family dinners. Finding a place that is truly kid-friendly can be a challenge, but this restaurant makes it effortless. The staff is always incredibly welcoming to the little ones, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the setup is perfect for families. The highlight is definitely the food. Great katsu! We had the katsudon and a katsu plate and both were totally delish. Great vibe to this new space and our server was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!
