beautiful ambiance. it’s a big space but still felt intimate. hoped the hype was just hype bc can't afford to be here all the time but the food was bomb. i got to try the tartare, cod, bass and duck and they were all amazing (our other, greedy friends got other entrees but they didn't share so can't comment on those dishes. based on how they hovered and shoveled the food in their mouths though, i'm sure they were fantastic as well). portions aren't big but this is definitely a case of quality over quantity. if they're ever o... read more
Compared with other places restaurant week menu, Morimoto did a good job. Nice food but desserts are a bit disappointing
It was my first time visiting, during restaurant week. The ambience and the service was outstanding. I had the best tuna tartare I’ve ever had. My husband had the gyoza and also loved it. For entrees we had the sushi combo and the sashimi plate. It was delicious and perfectly served for sure, but we wished there was more food. I understand it’s a fancy place, and sushi is not usually cheap, but I don’t think I would have payed the full menu price for the same plate.
