This is truly one of the best Taiwanese restaurants in the city. Every dish reflects the owner’s care and dedication—you can taste the heart in the details. The lu rou fan is unbelievably delicious, rich and comforting, easily my top recommendation. The side dishes are all perfectly seasoned, and the sour plum juice is refreshing and addictive. If you’re craving authentic Taiwanese flavors, this place will make you feel right at home.

很多年没去了。這次帶朋友去，發現價格三級跳，廚師和前台小姐不見了，只剩老闆一人在苦撑。原來$5～6元一碗物美價廉的魯肉飯，直接漲到$13塊多。招牌臭豆腐炸的超乾，搭配的泡菜真難吃。只點了兩樣，結賬時加税加小費付了$40元。只收現金又沒給收據，不知道是否會報税？
一碗牛肉面26.99，加税和小费三十五，目前是吃过的最贵的牛肉面，并且面量少的可怜，是平时牛肉面量的三分之一，不过去吃的人也少的可怜，可能是夫妻店，一天收入几百也能活，不然活不下去
We were in the area and craving Taiwanese food, so I was so excited to see there’s a Tofu King! I’ve been to the one in Irvine a few times, but this meal felt extra special. It’s a little hole in the wall spot run by some super sweet people. We ordered stinky tofu, fried pork chops, and beef noodle soup.
