I brought my car in for a ghosting error code (p0014). Where the code would come and go randomly. But was appearing more and more frequently. The code actually cleared itself after once I dropped off the car funny enough. The shop took a look at the car and and did checks on the camshaft sensor and the solenoid and it was determined that everything looked ok. I brought my car in and told the rep what was going on and what I wanted replaced if they couldn't figure anything else out. In this case a on and off alarm for p0014 it took hours for the shop to look at my car and at the time to replace the solenoid. Dropping my car off at 7:30 I didn't leave until 10:30 which is irritating but acceptable if the shop did the work I had asked for. I recently had a devastating experience at Todd Wenzel’s service center in Hudsonville. They told me my truck’s engine was completely locked up, which would have cost me thousands for a full rebuild. After a second opinion, the engine was perfectly fine—it just needed new lines and fresh oil. To make matters worse, they didn’t even attempt to start the engine; they only tried to turn it by hand. Fantastic experience with Todd Wenzel's service group in Hudsonville. I was alittle nervous from the horror story's online from others that had their 6.2 engines fail. Nino and his team worked flawlessly and speedy. Highly recommend them.
