My aunt is his patient and was having all the classic signs of ovarian cancer ( we know now) he never suggested a GYN consultation. She has terminal ovarian cancer now. He wasted a year that she could have been in treatment and it would have given her more options and time. Epic fail!
Unfortunately, I have had the same experience as James Lee. Dr. Butler's staff was wonderful, but he had trouble listening to and considering the patient's information. I had need for blood pressure medicine. He prescribed a pair to work together, with one being Hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill to flush sodium out of me. After being on the meds for some time, he was pleased with my BP. However, the nurse informed me that my labs required me to get on a potassium supplement that he was prescribing. While he obviously has a good base of knowledge his bedside manor swings fiercely between nice and rude. I came in with two complaints-one new one old. The new complaint he blew off, the second he hadn't even remembered the problem, even though I had seen him for it and done two visits (one Telehealth). Without examining the specified area of concern he basically said it couldn't be true. Rude, disrespectful and so inconsistent in bedside manor I can't handle it.
