Dr Holtz is very good but prepare your questions in advance.
Great staff and state of the art facilities, and perhaps a great doctor but he spent no more than 2 minutes with me and clearly was in a hurry rather than spend a couple more minutes discussing the procedure and after, what he found in a routine colonoscopy. Haste makes waste....maybe for him the name of the game is "run them thru" but for this patient that does not instill confidence that you are more than just a number...compared to a doctor who will spend a bit more time with you. Good beside manner. Clear in his directions. Gives helpful information. A very amicable beside manner.
Very impressed with staff, physician and facility; unfortunately call back regarding lab results needs improvement.
I am not likely to recommend Dr. Holtz to family and friends.
Dr. Holtz discovered a cancer within my colon during a colonoscopy recently. While waiting for the results of a biopsy, we were able to get an immediate appointment at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. He, personally, called us at Mayo to give us the result of the biopsy as soon as he received it. I have been to him for Endoscopies and Colonoscopies over the years and he and his staff have always been very helpful and informative. The staff is very well trained.
