My 2016 Ford Fiesta with 62,000 miles on it recently needed a new battery. I swapped it out for the correct battery and the car immediately gave a wrench symbol. When driving it the car was no longer shifting on time. Please note that I had no mechanical issues or transmission issues before swapping the battery. I had Autozone use a scanner and it came up with codes p0606 and p0702. I know this is for the TCM and seemed right since the car isn't shifting correctly. We went here today to get an oil change and check out the dealership for our next vehicle. We had an appointment and a service contract for the oil change. Upon arrival, the service advisors told my wife they didn't know how to do an oil change on a service contract so she'd have to pay. My wife called another dealer to help them out but I walked in while she was on the phone. Magically, they figured it out and no longer wanted to charge her.
