He extracted all 4 wisdom teeth with barely a weeks' recovery. During COVID he removed 2 teeth, left uncovered would be an infection. He's whom I trust for almost 3 decades He's the best.
I’m also dealing with nerve damage 9 months after seeing Dr. Tocchio for a wisdom tooth extraction. He’s a friendly, professional, seemingly skilled person who has been available for my many follow ups, but I wish someone had warned me about this. Nerve damage can happen with any surgeon and I had what seems to have been a tough surgery, but it is alarming to see many others with similar complaints. I will update here if it improves.
If I could give this doctor negative stars I would. He performed a double jaw surgery on me 10 years ago and completely destroyed my skull. Initially he had convinced myself and my parents that it would be life threatening for me to not undergo this very costly surgery, insisting my jaw would lock shut in the next few years and I would never eat again and struggle with breathing for the rest of my life.
